William James Myers was born April 16th 1937 in Detroit, Michigan.  George The Animal Steele is a former actor and wrestler best known in the WWF for ripping the turnbuckle up with his teeth, to use it for his advantage.

George The Animal Steele is a professional wrestling hall of famer and a WWF/WWE Hall of Famer since 1995.

George Steele came to the WWWF when he was scouted by Bruno Sammartino.  In his WWF career he feuded with wrestlers such as Bruno Sammartino, Chief Jay Strongbow, Vince McMahon, Nikolai Volkoff, the Iron Sheik, Ricky Steamboat, Barry Windham, Mike Rotunda and Macho Man Randy Savage and then retired.
