Aurelian Smith Jr. was born May 30th 1955 in Gainesville, Texas.  A former WWF and WWE wrestler.  Known as Jake "The Snake" Roberts.

Jake The Snake Roberts started his career in the WWF on May 13th 1975.  Jake started his 1st big feud against Ricky The Dragon Steamboat resulting in Jake The Snake giving him a DDT and putting a snake in his mouth at the end of the match.  Then his feud went to Randy The Macho Man Savage but his title fight with him went double count out and Randy Savage held his title.

Jake Roberts popularity was peeking out with Alice Cooper even being his manager in WrestleMania 3.  But Jake lost that fight to The Honky Tonk Man resulting Jake The Snake getting a guitar to the head with a real hard acoustic guitar.

Other big feuds Jake The snake had includes Ravishing Rick Rude, Andre the Giant, Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase, Virgil, Bad News Brown, Rick The Model Martel, Earthquake, The Ultimate Warrior, The Undertaker, Randy Macho Man Savage, 

When Jake Roberts went to the WCW he aligned himself with The Barbarian and Cactus Jack (Mick Foley) and feud with Sting and Nikita Koloff.

In 1996 he went back to the WWF at the Royal Rumble.  And during this time he feuded with Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Vader, Jerry The King Lawler,

• Jake Roberts is the son of wrestler Aurelian "Grizzly" Smith.
• Jake's managers included Alice Cooper, Paul Ellering, Jimmy Hart, Paul Jones, Sherri Martel, Cheryl Roberts and Kevin Sullivan.
• Jake 1st got his nickname The Snake from being thin and snake-like when he first started.
• Jake The Snake got hit by The Honky Tonk Man with a guitar before they used breakaway guitars which caused legitimate injury.
• Jake is a born-again Christian.
• Jake The Snake started the attitude era of WWF with Stone Cold Steve Austin.
• In November 1996, Roberts, Vader, and Brother Love appeared on the ABC sitcom Boy Meets World for one episode.
