Matthew Kaye was born June 26th 1974 in Queens, New York.  Matt Striker is a wrestler in the WWE under the ECW.

Matt Striker started his career in the WWE in the King of the Ring PPV match in 2002 but in a commercial not a fight.  His 1st fight was for the Pro Wrestling ZERO1-Max in Japan against Kurt Angle and fought as Matt Martel on WWE Smackdown!.

When Matt made his 2nd appearance on WWE in July on WWE Monday Night Raw to fight Kurt Angle again.  But as the name Matt Martel, the only thing is Kurt Angle told the crowd it was Matt Striker the teacher who was fired for wrestling, trying to make him look bad, but that started his career and gain him some fans even though he lost his first 3 fights to Angle.

Matt Striker moved to WWE Raw in 2005.  And won his 1st fight against Johnny Parisi.  Then his next fight he mocked The Ultimate Warrior making references to steroids because he called Matt a queer.

He later feuded with Shelton Benjamin, Carilto, Eugene and jobbers.  

In 2006 went to the ECW to become one of the ECW Wrestlers.  His 1st feud was The Sandman but was later suspended for a bad remark.

He came back late September to still feud with The Sandman.  And still fights under the ECW.

• Matt Striker was managed by Big Daddy V and Mark Henry.
• Matt was fired from his teacher job when a student noticed the teacher who was sick that day was a wrestler on WWE SmackDown!
• Matt Striker is also well known for his Classroom segment on WWE Raw and ECW
• Matt Striker forced Vince McMahon and himself to apologize to everyone for his stupid remark about late Steve Irwin and his wife right after his death.
