Shelton Benjamin and
Charlie Haas won their 1st tag team belt against Eddie
Guerrero and Chavo Guerrero on Wrestle
Mania. And retained it against Chris Benoit and Rhyno. But
they lost it to Eddie Guerrero and new partner Tajiri at
Judgment Day. Not
much later Kurt Angle fired them and they went on to become a tag team
with just them. But Shelton was switched to WWE
Raw in 2004. When Shelton got
to Raw he became a fan favorite and went to
beat Triple H and his team at the time Ric
Flair but lost to Randy Orton.
And got injured and sidelined in a fight with Garrison Cade. Shelton
returned a few months later and won the Intercontinental Championship against
Chris Jericho. He also retained
the title against Christian and the rematch
with Chris Jericho. But lost it to
Carlito. The
next feuds were with Shawn Michaels, Carlito,
Ric Flair, Rob Van Dam, Charlie
Haas, Triple H, John
Cena, Johnny Nitro and Super Crazy. Then he got back with Charlie
Haas to reform the tag team. In
2007 Benjamin went to ECW and called
himself the Gold Standard. And fought names like Tommy
Dreamer, Kane, CM Punk
and Kofi Kingston. Till he was switched to Smackdown
in 2008. In SmackDown
he fought Matt Hardy, R-Truth, Hurricane Helms, MVP, CM
Punk and John Morrison. Till he was switched again to the ECW
in 2009. His 1st fight in the ECW
he fought Yoshi Tatsu. And still fight there now.
