In the WWWF and the WWF he feuded with
wrestlers such as Mark Lewin, Don Curtis, Antonino Rocca, Miguel Pérez,
Bruno Sammartino, Bobo Brazil, Fred
Blassie, Whipper Billy Watson, Lou Thesz, Gene Kiniski, Édouard
Carpentier, Ernie Ladd, Jay Strongbow, André the Giant
and Seiji Sakaguchi till semi retiring and going to the ECW for a
little.
